Houston is a microcosm of The Unites States, not what the United States is, but what the United States will become. According to the 2008 Houston Area Survey, “Houston is at the forefront of the new ethnic diversity that is refashioning the socio-political landscape of urban America.” With no race representing more than 50 % of the total population, Houston is one of the most diverse cities in the Nation. According to Dr. Stephen L. Kleinberg, author of The Houston Area Survey, “Houston is one of the most culturally diverse Metropolitan areas in the country, and all of its ethnic communities are now minorities.”

Below is a FREE profile for all of the Black/African American and Hispanic/Latino organizations serving the Houston community.
