About AMCH Alliance of Minority Contractors of Houston :

The Alliance of Minority Contractors of Houston (AMCH), is a Texas non-profit minority business trade association, established to address the business needs and concerns of minority or women-owned contractors in the Houston area.

AMCH membership consists of general contractors, subcontractors, engineering consultants, construction managers, manufacturers, suppliers, local minority and women-owned contractors and sub-contractors, state and local government agencies, attorneys, and accountants. As a full-service membership organization, AMCH is committed to the enhancement of member firms and providing members with a variety of programs and services. These services are intended to reach far and beyond the minority construction entrepreneur and extends to the people they employ and to the community in which they live and operate.

AMCH has been instrumental in working with State, City and County governmental procurement/contracting agencies to ensure that Minority Business Contractors participate in publicly financed contracting opportunities. AMCH has also worked with and continues to work with non-minority majority firms and prime contractors to increase minority participation and provide contracting opportunities in the private sector.

The purpose of TheBlueZero.Com is to (1) Promote Post-Secondary Education to Black/African-American and Hispanic/Latino students, (2) To Promote Black/African-American and Hispanic/Latino Owned Businesses, and (3) To be a Bridge between the two Communities in Houston.
